About this policy
This policy explains how Mosaic Academy uses cookies on mosaicacademy.co.uk, what they do, and how you can control them. Mosaic Academy is run by Katie Buckland as a sole trader.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. They help a site work properly or tell the site owner how people use it.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our website, so we can improve it. It shows us things like which pages are visited, how long people stay, how they arrived (for example from LinkedIn or a search engine), what type of device and browser they use, and their approximate location. It doesn't tell us who you are.
Google processes this data on our behalf and may transfer it outside the UK, including to the United States. The analytics cookies themselves may remain on your device for up to 2 years. Google Analytics retains the data collected for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted from Google's servers.
You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also block Google Analytics on every website you visit with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Your choices
When you first visit our site, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Analytics cookies are not set unless you click "Accept". Your choice is saved in the mosaic_cookie_consent cookie so you are not asked again on every visit.
You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works.
